01 Field service
Field service for laser cutting machines
When the machine is down, a clean diagnosis is what counts. Our engineers work directly on your machine – laser source, beam delivery, cutting head, cooling and control.
Field service offering
Five services, one entry point
Field service is where it starts. Depending on the findings, we complete the work on site or plan one of these services with you.
-

CO2-to-fibre laser retrofit
Existing CO2 machines – for example AMADA, LVD, JFY, Tanaka or NTC – converted to fibre laser with FANUC control integration, instead of replacing the machine.
-

Fibre laser upgrade
A higher-power laser source raises productivity and the range of materials and thicknesses – without buying a new machine.
-

Cutting head repair
Repair and optical refurbishment of Precitec, Raytools, Ospri, Bodor, HSG, Bystronic and BOCI heads – lenses, height sensors and autofocus.
-

Periodic maintenance
Planned maintenance for CO2 machines such as AMADA, LVD and NTC, including reconditioning of turbo blowers, vacuum pumps and optics.
-

Pre-purchase consultation
Inspection of a used laser machine before you buy: mechanical accuracy, component wear, operating condition and a realistic view of future costs.
What field service covers
- Fault diagnosis
- Reading alarms and fault memories, measuring supply, laser power and cooling circuit.
- Repair
- Replacing or repairing defective assemblies, wiring, sensors and drives.
- Alignment
- Beam centring, nozzle centring, mirror alignment on CO2 machines.
- Calibration
- Height sensing, focal position, cutting parameters after repair.
- Documentation
- Findings, work carried out and measured values in the service report.
Machines we have worked on
Including machines from AMADA, TRUMPF, Bystronic, LVD, BLM/Adige, Tanaka, JFY and NTC – with CO2 or fibre sources and FANUC, Siemens or Beckhoff controls.
Laser Experts is not an authorised service partner of the manufacturers named. Brand names are used solely to indicate technical compatibility.
