FANUC turbo blower overhaul
The turbo blower circulates the laser gas in the resonator at very high speed – a precision machine that needs experience in maintenance, transport and installation.
What matters with turbo blowers
- Oil change: according to the manufacturer at least every 4,000 operating hours or two years. Degraded oil can cause blower failure.
- No overpressure: the blower is not designed to be pressurised; do not leak-test it with overpressure.
- Do not tilt: otherwise oil can enter the gas path during transport or installation and contaminate the gas circuit and resonator mirrors.
- Shut down correctly: if the oscillator is not stopped properly, oil mist can enter the vacuum chamber when the oil inlet is opened.
- Start-up after oil change: use the control's start-up support function – otherwise abnormal discharge can occur.
Scope
Turbo blower overhaul, oil change, removal and installation under clean conditions and commissioning to manufacturer specifications. Overhauled blowers are supplied with a warranty; scope and duration are set out in the quote.
