Repair instead of replacement: we replace damaged fibre cables and laser diode modules on IPG sources and test the power before the source goes back into production.

In practice
On site, the 12 kW delivery cable (QD) of an IPG fibre laser source was replaced and, in the same visit, the lens of a 12 kW Bodor cutting head was serviced. Beam alignment was verified with laser test paper; the machine returned to full cutting performance.
